Fresh Faces Balling Out At 2017 West Coast Jamboree

The West Coast Jamboree is one of the largest girls High School events in the country. The event is held in the East Bay of Northern California.

This area is a hot bed for talent. We checked out some action from the Gold and Platinum Division and focused on up and coming players. A few Freshmen to keep a eye on below:

Abigail Muse Heritage HS - 6'1", soft touch around the rim, runs the floor well.

LaLa Niu - Woodside Priory - A lefty guard, attacks the basket, has some range and a good motor.

Alexis Whitfield - Chaminade - 6'1", good frame, good hands, rebounds well

Anya Choice - Cardinal Newman - a real pg, changes direction quickly, good handles, excellent vision, above average athleticism, defends, good vision, solid all-around game

Amaya Oliver - ST. Marys Of Stockton - a rangy 6'2" wing, showed some good lift on her midrange, rebounds well, causes havoc on the defensive end, and showed  the ability to get by defenders with a slick handle.

Samaya Beatty - McClatchy -very athletic, great size, embraces contact, had several acrobatic finishes

Jordan Goodwin - Antelope - pg who can score, uses both hands well. She is deceptively athletic, very strong, finishes over taller deenders, likes contact, and very composed. Has a chance to be special.
